It’s a new season for Pensters! During the September 9th kickoff meeting, members and guests had the opportunity to catch up after a summer spent apart, before getting down to the business of a new year. President John Woods greeted attendees, recapping the upcoming release of the first edition of the Pensters Anthology while looking forward to all this season has to offer. One such project is a monthly article that will be published in local media about the Pensters. Members interested in writing a piece should contact John for further details.

Vice President John Stump also took his turn at the podium, recognizing members with news and brags from the past few months. After the concern was raised about lack of signage, officers will be considering ways to make the meeting location easier to find. Don’t forget, dues are $20.00 for the year and must be received before members are eligible to participate in the monthly contests. Next months prompt is: “A Justifiable Sin.” Hope to see everyone October 14th.
